In spite of the weatherman insisting that we would have a cold rainy day, it turned out unseasonably warm and sunny. The kind of day where I just itch to get out, walk a few blocks, run a couple of miles, bike a few more and then pant up my long steep driveway. I really don’t understand how it happens that the day goes by and I forget to get out and enjoy that spring weather. By the time I manage to set aside my work, the sky looks ominous. Just in time to run errands – quick dashes between the post office, school, karate lessons, grocery shopping, and restaurant, racing against humidity approaching 100%. Five minutes into dinner we watch as the sky darkens, trees bend in the wind, and the sidewalk floods . Changes… umbrellas will come and go and chances are mine will be in the car when I need it.
